Plantation, FL (July 15, 2021) - Two people were killed in a crash that took place in Plantation on Thursday, July 15th. The accident was reported around 3:30 a.m. in the 400 block of North University Drive.
According to reports, a black 2014 Mercedes Benz was traveling on Plantation when the driver lost control, causing the car to crash. Both the driver and a juvenile passenger died at the scene. Their identities have not been released at this time. The cause of the accident has not been released. Due to a heavy police presence drivers were advised to avoid the scene and to find alternate routes of travel.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
