Plantation, FL (March 29, 2019) - A serious two-vehicle crash forced two people to be extricated from one of the involved vehicles on Friday, March 29th. The crash happened at the intersection of Northwest Fifth Street and 70th Avenue.
Officials were Plantation Fire Rescue were called to the scene. Firefighters worked to rescue two people trapped inside an SUV. The SUV had jumped over the curb following the impact of the crash. A second car, with front-end damage, was seen sitting in the middle of the road. One of the crash victims was taken to a local hospital as a trauma alert. A second sustained minor injuries.
The area around the crash scene was closed for about two hours while police investigated. There is no word on the cause of the crash or whether any charges will be filed.
