Fatal car accidents in Florida take place about once every three hours. According to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, approximately 3,100 people were killed in Florida car accidents in 2019. This number represented a slight increase from the year before as Florida's roadways are gradually becoming more dangerous. With a growing population and more crowded streets and highways, we can expect the number of reported accidents to continue to rise in the future.
