Pompano Beach, FL (April 2, 2019) - A crash involving a car and a Brightline train left three people, including a child, with injuries on Tuesday, April 2nd.
Authorities responded to the scene at Northeast Third Street and North Dixie Highway in reference to the collision. While only one car actually collided with the train, there were also two other vehicles involved in the crash. A four-door sedan with front-end damage was seen being towed from the site of the crash. The Broward Sheriff's Office investigated the crash. Two women and a child were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear what caused the accident to take place.
No one inside the train was injured and no additional details are available.
