Port St. Lucie, FL (August 17, 2021) - A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries following a crash with a vehicle in Port St. Lucie. The accident occurred on Sunday morning on SE Kaspar Drive near the intersection with SE Sandia Drive.
According to officials, a motorcycle collided with a minivan driven by 23-year-old Gabriel Francisco. Police say that Francisco caused the accident when he turned into the motorcycle's path. The motorcyclist was rushed to Lawnwood Hospital in critical condition. Following an investigation, Francisco was arrested for negligent operation of a motor vehicle causing serious injury or death without a valid driver's license. There were no additional injuries reported.
