Port St. Lucie, FL (July 1, 2021) - Police in Port St. Lucie responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday morning. The accident was reported just before 10:30 a.m. near Prima Vista Boulevard and mile marker 145.
According to Lt. Yanko Reyes of the FHP, several tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles were involved in the accident. Multiple serious injuries were reported but none were believed to be life-threatening. Motorists were diverted to Okeechobee Road while authorities worked at the scene. There is no word on the cause of the accident at this time. The road reopened around 1:00 p.m.
