Putnam County, FL (May 4, 2019) - A crash near Palatka has left one person dead and two others hospitalized, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash took place on Friday, May 3rd, on US-17, near County Road 216.
According to investigators, a single vehicle was involved in the accident. The crash involved a rollover, although it is not clear what caused it to occur. One person was pronounced dead at the crash scene, while the two injured victims were transported to Putnam Community Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time, and none of the victims have been identified as of yet.
