Car accidents are a common event on Florida streets and highways with over 400,000 crashes reported each year in our state. Approximately 250,000 of those crashes resulted in injuries. In every car accident involving more than one vehicle, there is at least one innocent victim. When innocent people are hurt, the law steps in to provide remedies.
In Florida, when a driver, passenger or pedestrian is hurt by the negligence of another person, the injured individual has the right to bring a personal injury claim. In such claims, the victim can recover for pain and suffering, lost wages and all medical treatment, including future costs of treatment in some cases.
