A Road Ranger named Alfredo Falcon was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and two others sustained minor injuries in an accident that happened last afternoon. The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. yesterday in the eastbound lanes of the overpass.
Falcon, who works for the Road Ranger program, pulled onto the shoulder so that he could help out a motorist. He began walking back to his truck when he was hit by his own truck after another driver struck it. The driver who struck it was identified as 29-year-old Sarit Zarur. Zarur lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spiral out of control.
Zarur and her passenger suffered minor injuries, while Falcon was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Zarur was also charged with careless driving due to the incident.
