San Carlos Park, FL (July 4, 2021) - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a fiery injury crash in San Carlos Park early Sunday morning. The collision happened around 4:00 a.m. on San Carlos Boulevard near Pine Drive.
Troopers say that two cars collided on San Carlos after one of the vehicles crossed the center line. That vehicle fled the scene traveling eastbound. The other car burst into flames. A passenger and the driver were taken a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for a black Ford F150 with yellow fog lights.
Anyone with information on the accident is asked to contact the FHP or Crime Stoppers.
