Sarasota, FL (October 1, 2019) - Police were on the scene of a fatal crash in Sarasota on Tuesday, October 1st. The crash took place around 5:00 p.m. at the intersections of US 41 and Cass Way.
When officers arrived, they quickly began an investigation into the accident. According to reports, at least one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased victim was in a pickup truck and was ejected when the crash occurred. There is no information on the nature or cause of the crash or the extent of the injuries sustained. The deceased victim has not been identified.
