Sarasota, FL (March 29, 2019) - Two cars were involved in a deadly accident on Friday, March 29th. The crash happened at the intersection of University Parkway and Conservatory Drive.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene. At least one person was killed in the accident, although their identity has not been released at this time. The crash caused traffic to back up near the site and police closed all eastbound lanes. There is no word on what caused the accident to occur. Motorists near the scene were urged to use an alternate route.
