Sarasota, FL (August 11, 2019) - A crash with injuries has been reported on I-75 in Sarasota. The accident took place on Saturday, August 10th around 10:00 a.m.
Police responded to the scene near State Road 70. At least one vehicle overturned following the crash and there were multiple occupants inside the overturned vehicle. Rescue workers transported the injured victims to a local hospital for treatment. The nature and extent of the injuries are unknown at this time, and there is no word on the cause of the collision.
Police were on the scene for several hours, causing traffic to back up near the crash scene. No further details are available at this time.
