Sarasota, FL (March 15, 2021) - Multiple trucks were involved in a deadly crash on I-75 in Sarasota. The crash happened near mile marker 195 and Laurel Road.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the collision. According to troopers, a cement truck and at least one other truck were involved in the accident. One person was killed in the crash. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released.
The crash caused the southbound lanes to be closed for several hours. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel.
No further information has been released at this time.
