Seminole County, FL (July 11, 2021) - Authorities in Seminole County responded to the scene of a deadly car accident early Sunday morning. The accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 near the intersection with State Road 46.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one person was killed in the collision. Reports indicate that six other people suffered undisclosed injuries. The injured victims were transported to a local hospital where there is no update on their conditions at this time. There is no word on the events that led up to the collision and the identities of the victims are not known at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
Fatal car accidents in Florida happen approximately once every three hours. Many of these deadly crashes occur on interstates and major roadways throughout our state.
