Seminole County, FL (September 7, 2019) - Two people died in a four-vehicle crash that took place in Seminole County on Friday, September 6th. The crash took place on Highway 17.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Shane French was driving southbound on US 17 in a 1999 Honda. For reasons unknown, French veered into the northbound lanes and collided with two northbound cars. French died at the crash scene. Also killed in the crash was a 57-year-old man from Winter Haven, Florida who was driving a 2014 Toyota. There is no word on why French left his lane of travel.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
