Seminole, FL (October 8, 2019) - A woman from Seminole was killed and her passenger was seriously hurt in a crash that took place on Monday, October 7th. The accident happened on 102nd Avenue North.
Police report that 37-year-old Shawn Michelle Bodden was driving a 2006 Chevrolet HHR near the intersection with 97th Street North. For unknown reasons, she lost control of her car. The car left the roadway and collided with a guardrail and a concrete wall Bodden died at the crash scene. Her passenger, Rene Joseph Bergeron, 39, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police are still investigating the accident and, at this time, it is unclear if alcohol played a role. No further information is available.
