Seminole, FL (August 29, 2021) - A pedestrian was killed in an accident that happened on Saturday night in Seminole. The collision took place around 11:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of Seminole Boulevard.
According to a report from the scene, 46-year-old Brian Thomas was traveling southbound on Seminole Boulevard when struck 44-year-old Nole Karcher. Karcher was walking his bicycle across the street when he was struck. Karcher died at the crash scene. Following an investigation, Thomas was arrested for DUI. It is also believed that speed played a role in the accident.
No additional details have been released at this time.
