Southwest Miami-Dade, FL (November 9, 2019) - Two people were taken to a hospital when a dump truck crashed into a business on Friday, November 8th in Southwest Miami-Dade. The crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. at an insurance agency near Southwest 60th Avenue.
The Florida Highway Patrol, along with the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Reports indicate that a white SUV and a gray sedan were involved in a collision, along with six other vehicles. Following the impact, the white SUV veered across several lanes of travel before colliding with the building. The SUV sustained heavy damage to its front end as a result of the accident.
Two victims from one of the vehicles involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No one inside the building was hurt in the crash. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
