Spring Hill, FL (March 28, 2021) - A crash in Spring Hill left one person seriously injured on Sunday morning. The collision happened around 10:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 19 near Forest Oaks Boulevard.
The Flordia Highway Patrol responded to the accident. Troopers say that a 71-year-old man from Dunedin was driving a pickup truck southbound on U.S. 19. At the same time, a 55-year-old Williston man was also traveling southbound on U.S. 19 in a pickup truck. Both cars came to the intersection with Forest Oaks Boulevard when the SUV merged into the center lane and collided with the left side of the pickup truck. The SUV spun around before colliding with a billboard and coming to rest. The SUV driver was seriously hurt and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No one in the pickup truck was hurt.
The crash investigation is ongoing at this time. No further information is available.
