Spring Hill, FL (February 6, 2019) – A car crashed into a restaurant in Spring Hill, injuring six people including five customers. The crash too place at the Beef O’Brady’s restaurant on Tuesday, February 5th.
Investigators at the scene say that a woman was driving on Spring Hill Drive when she lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons. After losing control, the car jumped a curb and side-swiped two other vehicles before crashing through the front of building.
Five victims from inside the restaurant, ages 65 to 86, were rushed to a local hospital. One patron was trapped underneath the vehicle and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Several others also suffered serious injuries, though the exact nature of the injuries is not known at this time.
The Florida Highway Patrol is looking into the crash and it is not clear at this time if any charges will be filed.
