St. Augustine, FL (July 18, 2021) - At least 12 people were hurt after a trolley overturned on Saturday in St. Augustine. The incident occurred along St. Francis Street.
The St. Augustine Police Department responded to the crash scene. According to reports, the trolley was attempting to make a turn when it rolled over, trapping several people inside. The injured victims were all taken to local hospitals for treatment. There is no word on their injuries or conditions at this time. The trolley was operated by Old Town Trolley Tours.
An investigation into the accident is underway at this time. No further information has been released.
