When weather conditions lead to disastrous results, you might have questions on how to handle your case. Authorities have been warning those in Florida to stay safe and pay close attention to the roadways as wet, slick, and flooded roads take over in a variety of areas. Certain parts of Florida had up to a foot of rain on Saturday, especially in St. Lucie.
One wreck occurred due to the slick roads already. A St. Lucie woman was driving on Interstate 95 yesterday afternoon when she suddenly hydroplaned and lost control. Her vehicle struck a guardrail and she drove into a grassy median. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.
Authorities said that many more of these accidents could occur due to areas of roads being washed out and motorists not being able to see because of all the water flooding the roads.
