According to NHTSA, a reportable accident occurs about every 92 seconds in Florida. With this high frequency of car accidents, no one on or near the roadway is ever truly safe from being involved in a crash. Both drivers and pedestrians alike should take careful precautions to minimize their risk of being the victim of an injury accident. Police will continue to investigate this incident. In the meantime, we hope that the young girl who was seriously hurt will make a complete recovery.
