St. Petersburg, FL (December 26, 2020) - A 25-year-old man is dead and a woman is injured following a two-car crash in St. Petrsbeug on Christmas Eve. The crash happened just after 7:00 p.m. on 54th Avenue N, near the intersection with 48th Street.
According to a report, the man was traveling southbound on 48th Street when he attempted to make a left turn onto 54th Avenue. As he made the turn, his vehicle collided with a sedan driven by a 36-year-old woman from Seminole. The man, who was not identified, suffered critical injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died. The Seminole woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Her identity has also not been released at this time. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident and no additional injuries were reported.
An investigation is ongoing. No further information is available.
