St. Petersburg, FL (September 29, 2019) - A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a crash that happened in St. Petersburg. The accident occurred around 7:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Central Avenue.
Reports indicate that a pedestrian attempted to cross the street when he was struck by a 1996 Honda Accord. The pedestrian suffered critical injuries in the accident and was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. The pedestrian has not been identified by police at this time. No one else was injured in the accident.
The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating at this and no additional details have been released.
