St. Petersburg, FL (December 6, 2018) - A police officer suffered injuries when his motorcycle was involved in a crash in St. Petersburg. The accident happened on Wednesday, December 5th at the intersection of Central Avenue and 19th Street North.
Officials say that the officer was riding his motorcycle around 9:18 am when he collided with a vehicle traveling southbound on 19th Street North. There is no word on exactly how the crash took place. The officer was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
An investigation into the accident remains ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
