Stuart, FL (October 12, 2019) - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a car and a bicycle in Stuart. The accident took place on Friday, October 11th.
Troopers responded to the scene on Southeast Federal Highway near Southeast Cove Road. A car collided with a bicycle at the location, resulting in serious injuries for the bicyclist. The bicyclist, who has not been identified, later succumbed to their injuries. It is unclear what led up to the occurrence of the crash. No one else was injured in the crash.
Police have not released any additional information at this time.
