SW Miami-Dade, FL (May 4, 2021) - A bicyclist lost his life in a crash that took place in Southwest Miami-Dade on Tuesday. The crash was reported on Southwest 172nd Avenue near Southwest 200th Street.
According to officials, the bicyclist was traveling eastbound on Southwest 200th Street when he was struck by a Maserati. The bicyclist, who died at the crash scene, was not immediately identified. The Maserati driver fled the scene just after the accident took place but was later located by police. The crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol at this time.
