Tallahassee Police Department Officer Suffered Injuries in Crash

An officer with the Tallahassee Police Department suffered minor injuries when another vehicle was pushed into the rear-end of her vehicle. The crash happened on Wednesday around 12:45 a.m. on North Monroe Street.
The officer and another vehicle were in the inside turning lane when a driver suddenly pulled into their lane. The Altima in that lane was pushed into the back of her vehicle.
The driver that struck them was identified as 28-year-old Chloe Kaitlin Wood, who was cited for careless driving due to the accident. The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and nobody else was injured.
