Tamarac, FL (May 28, 2020) - Two people were killed and two others were injured in a rollover crash that took place in Tamarac. The crash happened on Thursday, May 28th around 4:30 a.m.
Officials responded to the intersection of Rock Island Road and Commercial Boulevard near the Florida's Turnpike shortly after the accident occurred. According to reports, a silver Corolla and a gray pickup truck collided with one another. The Corolla rollover following the crash. Two of the four Corolla occupants died as a result of the accident. Two more were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. There is no word on whether anyone in the pickup sustained injuries in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing at this time. No further details have been released.
