Tampa, FL (January 13, 2020) - At least one person was taken to the hospital after a crash on I-75 in Tampa. The crash took place on Monday, January 13th just before 5:00 a.m.
Police and rescue crews were on the scene shortly after the accident was reported. Based on initial reports, it appears that a car and a semi-truck were involved in the crash. Traffic was substantially backed up near the accident scene. A medical helicopter arrived on scene to transport injured victims. There was one person transported but no update on their condition at this time. The cause of the accident has not been revealed.
An investigation remains ongoing.
