Tampa, FL (December 6, 2018) - A bicyclist was struck and injured in Tampa on Wednesday, December 6th. The accident took place at the intersection of Fowler Avenue and 22nd Street.
Officers arrived on scene and found the bicyclist suffering from injuries after being hit by a vehicle. The bicyclist was transported to a hospital. The extent and nature of the injuries are not known at this time. The driver of the car did remain on the scene and cooperated with police. There is no information on how the crash took place.
Police closed Fowler Avenue while they worked at the crash scene. Neither the driver nor the bicyclist was immediately identified and it is not clear if charges will be filed.
