A deadly accident takes place on Florida's roadways about eight times per day. This amount of over 3,000 fatalities per year due to traffic-related incidents in our state. Unfortunately, hit-and-run collisions are a common cause of serious and fatal injuries. Many drivers involved in hit-and-run accidents choose to flee the scene knowing the destruction that they are leaving behind. Once they are apprehended, these drivers will face substantial legal responsibility for the consequences that they have caused.
Our thoughts and condolences are with the family of the Chanda Renee Gant during this difficult time.
