Tampa, FL (March 13, 2019) - A crash between a car and a box truck left one person suffering from critical injuries on Wednesday, March 13th. The crash occurred at the intersection of East Hillsborough Avenue and North 30th Street around 4:00 a.m.
Rescue workers were called to the scene in reference to the crash. One person was pinned inside the car, which was described as a sedan. Emergency crews used the jaws of life to extricate the driver, who was then loaded into an ambulance and taken to a local hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. Police have not released his identity at this time. There is no word on the exact cause of the crash and it is unknown whether anyone else was hurt.
