Tampa, FL (March 30, 2019) - A 43-year-old driver died in a crash along Interstate 75 on Friday, March 29th. The crash happened around 5:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol report that 43-year-old Anthony Victor Malangone was driving when his tire blew out, causing him to lose control of his vehicle. Malangone's car overturned at the crash site. Rescue workers arrived at the scene to administer medical treatment but, unfortunately, Malangone was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The road remained closed until around 8:00 p.m. Police are still investigating.
