Tampa, FL (June 23, 2021) - At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash that took place in Tampa on Wednesday morning. According to reports, the crash happened in the 500 block of College Avenue just after 2:30 a.m.
One of the vehicles came to rest in the front yard of a home. One car was flipped on its side and the other had its front-end completely smashed. It is not clear how the crash took place at this time or how many injuries were reported other than the deceased victim. There is no word on the identity of those involved.
No further information has been released.
Fatal car accidents in Florida take place about once every three hours. In 2019, more than 3,000 people lost their lives in car accidents across our state, with many of the victims being killed in crashes that were not their fault.
