Tampa, FL (January 7, 2020) - Several injuries were reported in a multi-car crash on I-75 in Tampa. The crash happened on Tuesday, January 7th around 11:00 a.m.
According to reports, 38-year-old James R. Mitchell was driving a Ford Escape southbound on I-75. Mitchell lost control of his car, which overturned several times before ending up in the northbound lanes. While in the northbound lanes, the Escape crashed into a Chevy Traverse and three other cars. Mitchell suffered serious injuries and four other crash victims sustained more minor injuries. There is no word on what caused the crash to occur at this time.
The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating.
