23-year-old Taylor Brooke Lee died when she failed to yield in her 2016 Volkswagen Jetta at an intersection. She drove directly into the path of a school bus. The crash took place at Corkscrew Road and Corkscrew Woodlands Boulevard.
Lee was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital and was pronounced dead due to the extent of her injuries. She also had a passenger in her vehicle at the time, 22-year-old Brittany Marie Diaz, who remains in serious condition for her injuries at Lee Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the bus, 27-year-old Amanda Leigh Timte, was also taken to Gulf Medical Center with serious injuries.
