The Villages, FL (July 15, 2021) - Police responded to a three-vehicle accident in The Villages on Thursday afternoon. The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on County Road 466 near Moore Boulevard.
The Sumter County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. According to a report from the scene, there were injuries involved in the collision. The exact nature of the injuries and the conditions of the victims are not available at this time. Officers have not released any information on the cause of the accident. Traffic was backed up near the scene as motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
