The Villages, FL (January 8, 2020) - A 70-year-old man sustained serious injuries in a crash involving a golf cart in The Villages. The crash took place around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7th.
According to authorities, Jack Cooper Snyder was riding the golf court southbound on Sherwood Street near the intersection with Winifred Way. As he proceeded through the intersection, Snyder's cart was hit by an 81-year-old man driving a Toyota RAV4. Rescue workers arrived on the scene and transported Snyder to Ocala Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the RAV4 was not identified at this time.
