Titusville, FL (November 5, 2018) - A violent head-on collision left three people dead on Monday, November 4th in Titusville.
According to police and eyewitnesses on the scene, a 1986 Oldsmobile was traveling southbound on South Park Avenue at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it crossed the center line. While in the northbound lanes, the Oldsmobile collided head-on with a Ford Explorer. Two occupants of the Oldsmobile were ejected in the crash. Three women from the Ford were transported to a hospital with serious injuries. In total, three people were pronounced dead in the crash.
The accident is the deadliest in this area since May of 2016 when four sisters died in a crash on I-95. The names of those involved in the crash have not been identified. A police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident remains ongoing.
This tragic accident is a reminder that a car crash can change many lives at a moment's notice. Three people were killed and their families must now deal with the pain and sadness that comes from losing a loved one to a horrific crash.
