Valrico, FL (January 11, 2020) - A crash took place involving a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputy in Valrico on Friday night, near the Taco Bell on the 2200 block of State Road 60.
According to reports, a driver pulled out of the Taco Bell parking lot and struck a marked HCSO patrol car. At least one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash but the nature and extent of the injuries are not clear at this time.
Police did not specify whether the deputy or the other driver was hurt in the crash and neither party involved has been identified at this time.
There is no word on whether charges are expected. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
