Vero Beach, FL (June 4, 2019) - A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash on Monday, June 3rd. The crash happened in the 1500 block of US-1, around 5:00 p.m.
Police and rescue crews responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist unresponsive. He was airlifted to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute in critical condition. There were no other injuries reported in the crash. The northbound lanes of US-1 remained closed while authorities worked at the scene. There is no word on how the crash occurred.
The accident is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol and no further details are available at this time.
