Vero Beach, FL (January 11, 2020) - A woman from Vero Beach is dead following a hit-and-run crash in Indian River County. The crash was reported around 1:15 a.m on Oslo Road near Citrus Spring Boulevard.
According to reports, a 32-year-old female pedestrian was walking along Oslo Road when she was struck by a vehicle that was traveling westbound in the left travel lane. The woman died as a result of the accident. Her identity has not been revealed at this time. The vehicle did not stop after the crash and no information has been released regarding the vehicle description or the identity of the victim.
The crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
