West Palm Beach, FL (March 30, 2021) - A man from Miami was killed in a crash that took place on the Florida's Turnpike on Monday, March 29th. The accident took place near mile marker 188.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a truck, driven by a 61-year-old Lake Worth man, was traveling southbound when the driver tried to make a U-turn in a construction zone. A northbound driver could not stop in time and subsequently collided with the 61-year-old man's truck. The second driver, a 29-year-old Miami man, died in the accident. A 28-year-old woman from Miami sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The identities of the victims are not available at this time.
The FHP is still investigating the incident. No word on charges at this time.
