Winter Garden, FL (January 9, 2020) - A crossing guard who was hurt in a crash on Wednesday, January 7th has been identified by authorities. The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 50 and Avalon Road.
According to authorities, three cars were involved in a crash at the intersection. .The crossing guard was pinned underneath one of the vehicles following a rollover collision. The guard, identified as Gisalaine Booker, was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. She suffered several broken bones and is expected to undergo surgery. There is no word on the identity of those involved in the crash and no information on whether charges are expected.
