Construction and job site accidents occur frequently in Florida. In 2016, there were over 300 fatal job site accidents reported in our state. Construction and building sites are regulated by federal, state and local laws which put certain protocols in place to protect workers from injury. In cases of accidents such as this one, a full investigation must be conducted to determine if safety protocol was followed. If the protocol was not followed, then an injury claim may result from the incident.
