Dayna N. Nilsen
About
Dayna N. Nilsen grew up in New York and moved to Tampa, Florida to pursue her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida. After graduating from USF, Dayna went on to receive her J.D. from Barry University School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the trial team where she gained valuable trial practice and also received the Book Award in trial advocacy. During her last year in law school, Dayna was a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office in the Ninth Judicial Circuit and also interned for a personal injury firm in Orlando. It was at this personal injury firm when Dayna realized she wanted to pursue a career in the personal injury field.
After being admitted to the Florida Bar, Dayna began working as a Plaintiff’s personal injury attorney. After four years of working at a Plaintiff’s personal injury firm, she went on to work at an insurance defense firm where she gained valuable knowledge and insight into the insurance defense world that she now brings over to the Plaintiff’s side to help her zealously advocate for her clients. Outside of work, Dayna enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her young daughter.
