About
Lisa-Gaye Smith was born in Jamaica and raised in South Florida. Lisa-Gaye graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. During law school, Lisa-Gaye worked as a legal assistant in a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. In addition, she was on the executive board of the Caribbean Student Bar Association, a member of the trial team, and a certified legal intern at Florida International University’s Children’s Immigration Clinic. Prior to joining Rubenstein Law, Lisa-Gaye was a plaintiff’s personal injury litigator. It was there that she dedicated her career to passionately advocating for individuals who were seriously injured as well as families who lost a loved one through the negligence of others.
When Lisa-Gaye is not working she loves spending time with her family, reading, and engaging in outdoor activities such as cycling, canoeing, and skydiving.
